Introducing Fall and Winter Collection

September 25, 2021 – I am excited to reveal my designs, patterns, and artwork for Fall and Winter 2021-2022. Fall and Winter start and end a cycle that looks to the past, examines the present, and imagines the future. Inspired by the Fall and Winter, my creativity is transformed by the beauty of nature’s flowers, leaves, and clouds. The Golden Ratio, 1.618…, resides in nature. Symbolized by the Greek letter phi, Φ. Early Greek philosophers, Plato, Pythagoras, and Empedocles, studied patterns, attempting to explain the order in nature. The Golden Ratio was found in Le Corbusier and Salvador Dalí, who used the number to guide their work. It is thought that the Parthenon, the Pyramids at Giza, the paintings of Michelangelo, the Mona Lisa, even the Apple logo are all said to incorporate phi. (John Brownlee. Fast Company). I didn’t get caught up in the science of applying phi to my art and designs to imply perfection. Instead, I found the sublime form in the way the number relates to nature’s imperfections. That’s pure, authentic beauty. Perfection is boring, while spontaneity is thrilling. In the essence of nature, I find opposites are not clashing but working together to find balance and harmony.

Imagination  Influences

Geometry created incredible patterns that delighted my imagination. Natural occurring patterns such as symmetries, spirals, meanders, waves, foams, tessellations, cracks, and stripes are exhilarating to me. However, geometry is found in DNA molecules, snowflakes, flower petals, crystals, shells, stars, galaxies, the air we breathe, and all life forms gestate from geometric codes. (Destination Deluxe).

Fall-Winter Color Palette

The seasons’ color for my Fall and Winter designs, patterns, and artwork is inspired by the Pantone Color Trend report. Highlighting ingenuity and resourcefulness colors encourage paradoxical artful statements. Mixing playful with practical, this season’s colors reflect the reinvigorated desire to create, whether injecting a contemporary view into heritage or imposing an urban style on nature and the great outdoors. (FashionTrendSetter). I choose to infuse sandstone, steel, copper, rust, pearl, green, lemon, and cobalt from the Pantone Color Trend palette into my designs, patterns, and works of art.

Inspirational Imagery

Sacred geometry, ancient hieroglyphs, symbolic and techno tattoos and graffiti, and science future, in spirit my imagery. Essentially, I drew from the past, the present, and the future using sacred geometry and ancient symbols, tattoo and graffiti iconography, my recent digital photographs intertwined with the AI of Playform.IO to conjure these new artistic themes. I am thrilled to share my Fall and Winter schema in these three themes.

Simple & Sacred Geometry Transformational Exuberance
Nature and mathematics intertwine to create beautiful forms. New beginnings, choices, change, and rebirthing to start fresh. Reach for the sky and extend upward to the heavens.
