Night of the Arts Event and Collaborative Endeavors,
In February 2023, I had the privilege of connecting with Aubrie Simpson-Gotham, an inspirational figure who is making a profound impact on the lives of local children and youth affected by foster care or trauma through her organization, Fostering Connections. Aubrie shared with me the exciting details of the upcoming Night of the Arts event, which promised to be an evening filled with art, community, and support. Eager to contribute to this meaningful cause, I enthusiastically offered an AI art donation and proposed an artistic collaboration with Fostering Connections. Little did I know that this collaboration would evolve into something truly extraordinary. I set off to put my creative AI talents to work.
A Vision Takes Shape
As Aubrie and I delved into discussions about our collaborative project, we envisioned two distinct series that would captivate the audience’s imagination. The first series, Studies in Color, would embrace the abstract, exploring the interplay of vibrant hues and captivating patterns. The second series, Steampunk Totems, would pay homage to the enchanting world of steampunk, infusing it with our unique artistic perspective. Excitement fueled our creative journey as we embarked on crafting these visually stunning pieces.
A Gesture of Generosity
To enhance our contribution to the Night of the Arts event, I decided to go beyond AI artwork. I donated three exquisite scarves, each showcasing a breathtaking AI pattern. Raghu Mirsa, the visionary CEO and founder of theLink Nocatee, graciously offered us a remarkable opportunity to exhibit my AI art portfolio in an immersive experience room. This gesture of support allowed us to showcase our creations in a truly captivating and engaging manner. The immersive room would transport the visitors into a world where art and technology harmoniously converged, creating an unforgettable experience for all.

As the Night of the Arts event approached, anticipation filled the air. What an incredible Saturday night (May 13, 2023) at the Night of Arts! I’m still in awe of the mesmerizing AI creation and the remarkable collaboration with Aubrie and Fostering Connections. The entire series of Studies in Color and Steampunk Totems found their new owners through the auction.
